Ultimate Avengers 2 (also known as Ultimate Avengers 2: Rise of the Panther) is the sequel to Ultimate Avengers. Part of the film takes place in Wakanda and the Black Panther is featured as a central character.

Ultimate Avengers 2: Rise of the Panther was released on August 8, 2006, and sold along side a Minimate block-figure. There were three different figures (Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk), although their designs were based on their 616-counterparts, and not their Ultimate Marvel designs. It premiered on Cartoon Network on October 21, 2006.

The movie has recently been released in a box set called Marvel Animated Features Collector's Gift Set which also includes a copy of the Ultimate Avengers and The Invincible Iron Man films along with a collector's Iron Man bust.

 

 The Ultimate Avengers are back in this sequel based on the comic book THE ULTIMATES. Captain America once again heads up a team of superheroes, including the Hulk, Wasp, Giant-Man, Thor, and Iron-Man, to battle alien invasion. This time the story unfolds in Africa, and our heroes are aided by another superhero, the Black Panther...
